Exterior façade and front yard improvements to an existing multi-family apartment building.  A series of trellises are used to give a more deliberate articulation to the existing fenestration pattern, while providing shade along the western exposure.

The front yard has been reworked to minimize non-permeable surfaces by introducing a permeable green band along the length of the front yard. The existing waist-high concrete block planters and jumble of stairs and platforms been replaced with a gently sloping path way set in the landscape that winds its way from the sidewalk up to the main entry.
